The job is located in Mascot Sydney, near Mascot train station.Shift: Must be flexible with shifts, may be required to work on weekendsChef RoleMorning Shift : 7am - 3pm, payrate $36.93 inclusive p/h +super,Afternoon Shift: 3pm -11pm, payrate $41.36 inclusive p/h +superThe Role:Chef will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of food items according to approved specifications and recipes.To ensure that food preparation is made on time within designated schedules. Check all materials and foodstuffs ensuring that they are used before spoilage.Keep all food preparation areas clean at all times.Supervising tasks being performed by Catering Assistants and unqualified chefs in designated section. Maintain efficient sanitation services, garbage disposal and other general dutiesAbout YouMust have Certificate III or above in Commercial CookeryExperience in Asian Cuisine or Western Cuisine is highly desirableExperience working in a bulk cooking environment is highly desirable.Good Knife SkillsAvailability to work a 5 day weekly roster (weekend days required).Full and unrestricted working rights for Australia.Catering Assistant Role with Knife SkillMorning Shift : 7am - 3pm, payrate $34.86 inclusive p/h +super,Afternoon Shift: 3pm -11pm, payrate $39.05 inclusive p/h +superThe Role:Assisting Chef in food ingredients preparationUsing knife cutting, chopping, dicing raw food materials in bulkGeneral kitchen cleaning and dutiesAbout YouFull working right no hours restrictionAvailability to work a 5 day weekly roster (weekend days required).Previous experience in kitchen environmentGood experience in knife handling
