Our employees contribute towards a wide range of groundbreaking space programmes including Galileo and Copernicus, ExoMars, Iris2, ESA BASS, ESA GSPT, LISA Pathfinder, Euclid, the Ariane and Vega launchers as well as the International Space Station.HE Space has joined forces with CS Group and Sopra Steria to lead the engineering and digital space market in Europe and to provide highly skilled consulting.We are passionate about people and invest in you to support the development of the European space industry.Job DescriptionAs part of the Propulsion Engineering team you will have the following responsibilities:Providing expert technical support in Chemical Propulsion to the Agency’s project teams responsible for the development of space transportation and exploration vehicles (including launchers, orbital transfer vehicles, landers and reentry vehicles) and spacecraft throughout all the project phases;Supporting the activities for studies, simulation and experimental investigations and engineering developments in chemical propulsion (components, equipment, sub-systems, systems).QualificationsYou will have the following qualifications and relevant experience: University degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Enginering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Masters with relevant experience;Experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering with emphasis in chemical and/or advance propulsion related subjects;Proven experience in the design, development and/or testing of chemical propulsion systems and/or components for spacecraft and/or launcher applications;A good knowledge of other specialist technological areas involved in space propulsion i.e. materials, thermal, mechanical would also be desirableFluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.Additional InformationThis job is located in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.If you think you have what it takes for this job, please send your CV (in English and in Word or PDF) by clicking on the button “Apply for this job” quoting job NL-HP-25169.An exciting and dynamic international working environment awaits you!Inclusive and committed employer, our company works every day to combat all forms of discrimination and promote a respectful working environment.
