Job Purpose:The Chemical Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, developing key customer relationships, and expanding the company’s market share in chemical and petrochemical products. The role involves strategic planning, negotiation, and execution of sales to industrial clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development-> Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets.-> Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and export markets.-> Manage key accounts and maintain long-term relationships with industrial customers.-> Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing structures to optimize profitability.2. Customer Management-> Serve as the primary contact for key clients, providing technical and commercial support.-> Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and contracts in alignment with company policy.-> Ensure timely delivery, payment follow-up, and issue resolution for all clients.3. Strategic Planning & Reporting-> Prepare monthly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence briefs.-> Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to align supply with demand.-> Participate in the development of annual business plans and product positioning strategies.4. Technical & Product Knowledge-> Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s chemical products and their applications.-> Provide technical presentations and training to customers when required.-> Liaise with R&D or technical teams to communicate customer feedback and new requirements.5. Compliance & Documentation-> Ensure adherence to company policies, trade compliance, and safety standards.-> Oversee the documentation process for tenders, export shipments, and customer contracts.Qualifications & Experience:-> Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; MBA preferred.-> Experience: 7–10 years of experience in B2B chemical or petrochemical sales, preferably in industrial raw materials (e.g., PTA, DOP, DOTP, Phthalic Anhydride, solvents, or plasticizers).Technical Skills: Strong understanding of chemical processes, MS Office, ERP (preferably Odoo or SAP).
