The candidate will work in an interdisciplinary environment at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and support the research of a young and dynamic team. The position is available as soon as possible and limited to one year, with the option of permanent employment. The salary is based on the collective agreement and the salary scale for general university staff, with relevant professional experience being taken into account.Your Future TasksYou will be responsible for the majority of the analytical and spectroscopic equipment at our institute. This includes several analytical and preparative HPLCs, ICP-MS, UV/Vis spectrometers, FT-IR spectrometers, synthesis microwaves, lyophilizers, cyclic voltammetry, etc. After training on the various instruments, you will be responsible for creating appropriate SOPs, further training new employees, adhering to appropriate safety precautions, managing and procuring consumables, and performing and/or organizing maintenance and repair work to ensure our equipment is always reliably available. Furthermore, after appropriate training, your responsibilities will include sample preparation, conducting measurements, and documenting them, specifically on the ICP-MS instrument.
