For an important Italian branch of a European multinational company, we are looking for a: Head of Accounting and Financial Statements (€30 million turnover for 60/70 employees). The company has an administrative/accounting structure of 3/4 FTEs. Experience in the accounting management of warehousing and logistics is important.In summary: Administrative Manager with a solid understanding of P&L and Budgeting practices. The ideal candidate will be based in Milan, report directly to the CFO based in Slovenia, and have the ability to work effectively as a manager while also not neglecting hands-on operational tasks where necessary.Responsibilities:Liaise with the Group CFO for an efficient and accurate corporate reporting process, providing clear and timely financial information to various internal stakeholders.Coordinate and control the invoicing of the Italian company, ensuring the correct issuance of invoices and compliance with payment terms.Record every company accounting movement, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.Manage the accounting process, ensuring compliance with procedures and tax/fiscal obligations.Credit management.Process and prepare the draft budget/forecast, evaluating financial performance and providing detailed analyses to decision-makers.Work with the accounting team on accurate management accounting (cost accounting) to establish connections with general ledger accounting for a complete view of the company's activities.Relations with external consultants (Chartered Accountant, Labour Consultant, and Audit Firm).The candidate will manage a team of 4 resources and will be responsible for the following activities:Requirements:Experience of at least 5/6 years in administrative leadership roles, preferably in international contexts.Skilled manager of resources with diverse experiences and seniority.Advanced skills in P&L and Budgeting, with a proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into meaningful information for management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with other teams and business lines within the group.In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting procedures and tax/fiscal regulations.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.Excellent knowledge of the English language.Location: Milan Level of insertion: Quadro (Middle/Senior Manager level in the Italian classification). Expected Gross Annual Salary (RAL): approximately €60k/65k. Smart Working (SW): 40 days per year.
