Chief Accountant

About the Role:We're launching a new wiring harness plant in Kenitra and seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support our growth from the ground up.As Finance Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate and local accounting policies, maintaining integrity, quality, and accuracy of financial records as well as driving continuous improvement for a leaner and more efficient finance organization.Key Responsibilities:Supervise accounting document processes (registration, scanning, archiving).Support AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger processes.Ensure proper classification of revenue/expenses and accurate month-end cut-offs.Manage fixed asset activities (acquisition, disposal, inventory, etc.).Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.Reconcile and analyze monthly balance sheet accounts.Manage statutory and IFRS reporting layers and account mapping.Prepare statutory annual accounts and external reports.Handle audits (financial, tax, internal control).Draft local procedures and process descriptions.Support management reporting and budgeting/forecasting.Identify process improvement opportunities and support cost reduction initiatives.Why Join Us?Be a key driver in establishing a new plant in Morocco.Opportunity to shape Finance operations from the ground up in a greenfield environment.Supportive, multicultural team focused on continues improvement.Access opportunities for long-term career growth within a global organization.Competitive compensation package.Your Profile:Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounting.Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and management accounting in an automotive, preferably wiring harness industry.Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail.High energy, proactiveness and efficiency.Experience working in a multinational or greenfield/start-up environment is a major advantage.Advanced knowledge of Excel.Fluent in Arabic and French, with working English proficiency required.If you are passionate about the automotive industry and Finance, and are driven by challenges, apply by submitting your CV in English.
