As part of our continued growth and strategic expansion, we seek to appoint a visionary and result-oriented Chief Business and Strategy Officer (CBSO) to join our executive leadership team. Key Responsibilities: The Chief Business and Strategy Officer will be responsible for the formulation, execution, and continuous evaluation of the Group’s business strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. The CBSO will work closely with the Managing Director and other members of the Executive Management Team to identify business opportunities, develop long-term strategies, oversee key partnerships, and ensure that all business units are aligned with the Group’s strategic vision. This role demands a forward-thinking, analytical, and commercially astute leader capable of driving innovation, operational efficiency, and business transformation. 1.Strategic Planning and Execution • Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s overall business strategy and long-term objectives. • Lead the annual strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with the Group’s mission, vision, and values. • Translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans and measurable performance indicators across business units. • Conduct regular reviews of the business environment, industry trends, and competitive landscape to guide corporate strategy. • Advise the Managing Director and Board on strategic matters that impact the organization’s positioning and growth trajectory.2.Business Development and Expansion • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business ventures, partnerships, and market opportunities. • Spearhead initiatives that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and business diversification. • Build and sustain strong relationships with strategic partners, key clients, government agencies, and investors. • Negotiate and structure high-value business agreements, ensuring favorable terms and long-term sustainability. • Oversee the development of proposals, pitches, and presentations for new opportunities. 3.Corporate Strategy and Innovation • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and digital transformation across all subsidiaries. 4.Financial and Operational Oversight • Lead the research and development of new products, services, and technological solutions. • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure the efficient execution of strategic projects. • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies that enhance organizational performance and market competitiveness. • Work in collaboration with the Finance Department to define financial goals and ensure the effective allocation of resources. • Monitor key performance metrics, profitability, and overall business health. • Ensure all strategic initiatives deliver measurable value and return on investment. • Support cost optimization, risk management, and operational efficiency initiatives. 5.Leadership and People Management • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the business development and strategy teams. • Mentor and develop departmental heads to enhance leadership capacity within the Group. • Promote a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and innovation. • Represent the company at key stakeholder meetings, conferences, and strategic engagements. Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Strategy, or a related field. • A master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is strongly preferred. • Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive experience in business strategy, corporate development, or executive management roles, preferably within the technology, ICT, or consulting industries. • Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and achieving measurable business growth. • Strong understanding of market dynamics, business modeling, and organizational transformation. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level stakeholder relationships. • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
