Position Overview:The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is a key executive responsible for driving the commercial strategy and growth of Dry Port operations in Egypt. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CCO will oversee all commercial activities, including sales, marketing, business development, and customer service, to ensure the integrated commercial success of the organization.Key Responsibilities:1. Commercial Strategy Development: - Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the dry port. - Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion 2. Sales and Marketing Leadership: - Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets and enhance market presence. - Develop and implement, in collaboration with CMA CGM teams, effective sales and marketing strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention 3.Business Development: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive growth. - Conduct market analysis and develop business plans with meaningful KPIs to track progress and success 4.Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Address client concerns and issues promptly to enhance the overall customer experience 5. Financial Management: - Provide revenue and financial support to the executive team, including budget management and forecasting. - Monitor and analyze financial performance to ensure the achievement of commercial goals 6. Team Management and Development: - Motivate, drive, and develop the commercial team to achieve high performance and professional growth. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement 7. External Awareness: - Stay informed about external factors, including competitors, industry developments, and government initiatives, that may impact the business. - Adapt strategies as needed to respond to changing market conditions and regulatory environments Qualifications:- Proven experience in a senior commercial role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry. - Deep knowledge of road and rail Egyptian mark - Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities. - Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. - In-depth knowledge of sales, marketing, and business development principles. - Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
