Job title: Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (Assistant Secretary) Tailte ÉireannEmployer: Department of Housing, Local Government and HeritageLocation: DublinClosing Date: 27th November, 2025Salary: Starting at €168,138About the Employer:Tailte Éireann (TÉ) is an independent government agency under the aegis of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, providing a property registration system, property valuation service, and national mapping and surveying infrastructure for the State.The core business of TÉ is to provide a system of registration of ownership to land in Ireland, to deliver to its stakeholders accurate, up-to-date valuations of commercial and industrial properties and to create and maintain the definitive mapping records and physical infrastructure of the State. TÉ is responsible for advising on the fixing of maritime and international boundaries and delimiting statutory boundaries and delineating such boundaries on maps. In addition, TÉ is the custodian of an extensive archive of unique records which provide an invaluable resource for genealogical and historical research.About the Role:The Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO) holds a key leadership position within TÉ responsible for setting and delivering the strategic direction of the Corporate Affairs function. This remit includes governance, compliance, Finance, HR, Innovation, Programme Management Office and corporate services.The CCAO ensures alignment with organisational priorities, drives integration across functions, and acts as a strategic adviser to the CEO on all matters relating to Corporate Services. The role provides overall leadership to the Corporate Affairs team, enabling delivery of a broad range of strategic objectives.The CCAO leads cross-functional initiatives, promotes operational excellence, and fosters a culture of accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement.The CCAO leads a team of six Principal Officers, each committed to delivering high-quality policy, operations, and governance under the CCAO's leadership.About You:Essential Criteria:The person appointed will:• Possess significant experience in a relevant discipline; and• Demonstrate a strong and proven record of achievement at senior level, evidencing the necessary vision, leadership, and management capabilities; and• Show the capacity to contribute strategically to the overall leadership and future development of TÉ; and• Exhibit a proven ability to lead and deliver change initiatives, including people management and performance improvement; and• Demonstrate corporate leadership and governance capability of appropriate scope and scale; and • Possess the collaborative leadership and influence required to align internal and external vision, processes, and resources to achieve key corporate priorities; and• Have a successful track record at senior level in leading corporate governance, performance, and project management systems for significant and complex service delivery operations; and• Show the ability to translate policy into programme-level change processes that deliver improved outputs and outcomes.The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 3pm on Thursday, 27th November, 2025.We are committed to a policy of equal opportunity and encourage applications under all nine grounds of the Employment Equality Act.
