Summary: The Chief Enrollment Officer (CeO) provides strategic vision and leadership for all aspects of the College's comprehensive enrollment management plan. This executive role is responsible for driving institutional enrollment growth, optimizing student recruitment and retention, and ensuring seamless matriculation pathways from initial interest through graduation. The CeO oversees the integration of strategic marketing, admissions, financial aid, and critical student success functions, including College Credit Plus (CCP) advising and overall student matriculation strategies. As a key member of the President's senior leadership team, the CeO collaborates closely with the Business Office, Marketing, Student Affairs, and the Chief Academic Officer to align enrollment goals with the College's strategic plan, academic programs, and fiscal objectives.This role will oversee the organization’s integrated enrollment management efforts, focusing strategically on leveraging data and technology to enhance the student experience. The strategic focus includes implementing predictive analytics in the student information system, enhancing the use of CRM and automation to streamline applicant processes, and upgrading enrollment dashboards and reporting systems to enable real-time tracking of essential metrics such as enrollment trends, retention rates, and student outcomes.Personal Touch: All major activities, essential duties and responsibilities shall be performed integrating the personal touch philosophy, which defines our College. The personal touch is characterized by respect, responsiveness, and responsibility in all relationships and is an attitude toward students, colleagues, and community members demonstrating respect, acceptance, responsibility, courteousness, and genuineness.Enrollment Strategy & Leadership:Develop, implement, and assess a comprehensive, data-driven enrollment management plan to achieve the College's enrollment goals (credit and non-credit).Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the entire student enrollment funnel, from prospect generation through matriculation and retention efforts.Utilize predictive analytics, market research, and enrollment trends to inform decision-making and optimize enrollment outcomes.Champion a student-centric enrollment philosophy across all College divisions.Marketing & Communications Oversight:Lead and integrate the College's marketing and communications strategies to support enrollment objectives.Ensure brand compliance, institutional messaging, and strategic outreach campaigns aimed at prospective students, parents, and community stakeholders.Ensure consistent and compelling communication across all platforms (digital, print, events, social media) to attract and engage diverse student populations.Direct the development of marketing collateral, recruitment materials, and digital content that effectively showcase the College's programs and value proposition.Admissions:Provide executive-level leadership support to the Admissions Office, overseeing application processing, recruitment initiatives, campus visits, and yield strategies.Collaborate with the Financial Aid Office to ensure effective packaging strategies, compliance with federal and state regulations, and to leverage aid to meet enrollment and access goals.Ensure that admissions processes are streamlined, transparent, and student friendly.College Credit Plus (CCP) Advising & Integration:Provide assistance with overseeing the College Credit Plus (CCP) advising team, ensuring high-quality academic and transitional support for high school students enrolled in CCP courses.Collaborate closely with the CCP Coordinator (who focuses on K-12 relationships, compliance, and industry partnerships) to ensure a cohesive strategy from external outreach to internal student support.Integrate CCP advising with broader student success initiatives, positioning CCP advisors as key players in early college student retention and engagement.Develop strategies to optimize the CCP student experience, fostering a positive perception of the College as their future educational home.Matriculation & Student Pathways:Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize the matriculation of admitted multigenerational students into enrolled students, across all student populations, including traditional, non-traditional, and CCP students.Work in close partnership with the CCP Coordinator to develop and execute targeted matriculation strategies specifically for CCP students transitioning to College enrollment post-high school.Oversee strategies for retention and persistence, collaborating with academic and student affairs leaders to ensure students successfully progress towards completion.Ensure that effective onboarding processes, new student orientations, and early alert systems contribute to successful student transitions.Team Leadership & Management:Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of enrollment management professionals.Foster a collaborative and data-informed culture within the enrollment management division.Manage departmental budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet enrollment objectives.Interdepartmental Collaboration & Strategic Alignment:Collaborate extensively with the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) to align academic programs with market demand and enrollment opportunities, and to ensure academic readiness for incoming students.Work with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to ensure enrollment management strategies are tightly integrated with the College's overall strategic plan and institutional priorities.Partner with the CFO on financial modeling, tuition strategies, and budget planning related to enrollment.Engage with the Chief IT Officer to leverage technology for enrollment management systems, data analysis, and student communication.Serve as a key spokesperson for the College's enrollment efforts, internally and externally.Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field highly preferred.Experience:Minimum of [5-7]+ years of progressively responsible experience in enrollment management, marketing, or a related field.Proven track record of success in developing and implementing comprehensive enrollment management plans that achieve or exceed targets.Demonstrated experience in leading and managing diverse teams, with preference in the following Higher Education areas: marketing, admissions, financial aid, and student affairs.Strong understanding of Ohio’s Dual Enrollment Programs, College Credit Plus (CCP), policies, and their role in enrollment pipelines.Proficiency in enrollment management CRM systems, student information systems, and data analytics tools.Experience in strategic planning, budget management, and fiscal oversight.Proven ability to establish and execute enrollment goals that drive institutional growth, improve student retention, and align with the College’s mission and strategic priorities.
