This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished executive with a proven track record in the financial services sector to take the helm of a major institution with national impactAbout the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) opportunity:The CEO will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the bank, driving sustainable business performance, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding the highest standards of governance and regulatory complianceDevelop and execute the bank’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with regulatory requirements, shareholder expectations, and national financial prioritiesLead and inspire the executive leadership team to deliver strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and service excellenceOversee risk management, governance frameworks, and compliance with Indonesian banking regulationsDrive customer-centric innovation, including digital transformation and adoption of modern banking technologiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with regulators, investors, business partners, and other key stakeholdersPromote a high-performance organizational culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and collaborationIdentify and develop new growth opportunities, including enhancement of Syariah banking products and distribution channels where appropriate.The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with deep industry expertise, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and demonstrated success at the C-suite levelSkills and experience needed:Proven leadership at the C-suite level (CEO, Deputy CEO, COO, CFO, or equivalent) within a sizable and regulated financial institutionMinimum 20 years of progressive experience in the banking or broader financial services industryDeep understanding of the Indonesian banking landscape, regulatory environment, and financial market dynamicsStrong financial acumen, strategic thinking skills, and stakeholder-management capabilityMBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputable institution (preferred)Experience with Syariah banking products or Syariah distribution models is highly desirableExceptional communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and EnglishThis is an exceptional opportunity to lead a respected national bank with ambitious growth objectives.
