What you'll be doing:·       Working closely with the CEO as a true business partner, helping guide the company's financial, strategic and commercial direction - with a focus on maximising value from current profitable operations while developing the flagship asset·       Shaping and delivering the financial strategy for sustainable growth, including project funding and evaluating strategic opportunities as they arise·       Building strong relationships with stakeholders and investors, helping them understand the company's value creation story and operational strengths·       Driving continuous improvement in operational performance and returns, while maintaining strong financial discipline·       Optimising working capital and ensuring the business maintains its strong cash generation to fund future growth·       Leading a small finance team, ensuring accurate reporting while providing robust analysis for investment decisions, whether organic or acquisitiveCreating a culture where everyone thinks about costs and efficiency, while identifying opportunities to enhance shareholder valueUpgrading systems and processes as the company grows and evolvesWe're looking for an experienced CFO (or someone ready to step up) who's known for their financial and commercial skills, with a track record of managing profitable mining operations. You'll have solid resources sector experience and understand what it takes to build and sustain a successful mining business.
