FSRA is building an agile, forward-thinking and collaborative culture, and is committed to encouraging innovation and competition, and promoting market integrity and stability.THE OPPORTUNITYThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is accountable for developing and delivering on the finance priorities of the organization. This includes overall leadership of the related teams, infrastructure, systems and services that enable the delivery of controllership, budgeting, financial planning & analysis, payroll, reporting, accounting, procurement and facilities. Specifically, the CFO will be accountable for: Strategic Leadership: Set the vision, strategy, and priorities for the finance function, aligning with broader organizational goals. Lead teams responsible for controllership, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, payroll, reporting, accounting, and procurement.Financial Expertise: Provide robust financial expertise, advice, and support across financial planning, budgeting, reporting, internal controls, fee assessment, cash management, payroll, asset protection, investments, procurement, and project finance.Systems & Compliance: Oversee the development and implementation of financial analysis, reporting systems, policies, and standards. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, accounting principles, and audit standards.Performance: Set and monitor financial targets, analyze and report on financial performance,. Develop operational plans and performance metrics for finance.Funding Model: Design and manage the funding model, including stakeholder consultations and system development, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.Change & Innovation: Champion a collaborative, forward-thinking culture and drive innovation and continuous improvement within the finance function.Executive Support: Advise senior executives on financial planning, reporting, control initiatives, and confidential board-level financial matters. Provide financial reporting to Audit, finance and Risk CommitteeTeam Development: Build an agile, diverse, and high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of service excellence, accountability, and positive employee experience.IDEAL CANDIDATECPA or equivalent degree in accounting or finance combined with progressively more responsible senior finance leadership experience;Strong financial skills and acumen with deep expertise in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, and controls;Experience working within complex funding/reporting frameworks;Excellence in strategic leadership, business partnering, business process engineering, data-driven decision-making, communication, and relationship-building/management.WHY JOIN FSRA?
