Having previously outsourced its CFO function fractionally, they are now creating this pivotal role to lead the next stage of growth and build internal capability for the long term. Reporting to the CEO and partnering with and investors eager to fund growth, you'll take full ownership of the finance function, leading its transition from an outsourced model to a best-practice in-house capability.You'll oversee everything from financial control and statutory reporting through to commercial decision support and strategic planning. Day to day, that means:-Rebuilding the finance platform to meet the needs of a growing, capital-backed businessLeading budgeting, forecasting, provisioning and funding analysis with precision and insightPartnering with operations and executives to influence commercial outcomesOverseeing system improvements to connect data, reporting and automationMentoring a small, dedicated team and developing succession deptIt's equal parts strategy and execution, the perfect role for someone who loves turning a good business into a great one.About YouYou're a finance leader who thrives on building, not maintaining. You've modernised systems, fixed broken processes and shaped finance functions into credible, insight-driven partners to the business.You'll bring a background in financial services, capital-backed or highly regulated industries.
