Job Description

The Finance Business Partner for Real Estate will be responsible in providing financial analysis and insights to business units to help business leaders understand their financial situations, identify opportunities and risks, and to help them make informed decisions. They will collaborate with the President and Mancom to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering:Drives structured performance meetings with key stakeholders to ensure constant alignment with current performance vs targets, forecasts being carried out balancing risks and opportunities as well as timely escalation of issues / risks for proper mitigationPrepares the operating business plans together with the Business Unit Heads and lead work efforts related to the financial forecasts and overall budget to ensure profitability standards are met and internal financial controls are in placeActs as Bids and Awards Committee Chairman for major procurement items within the business unitFinancial Reporting and Driving Performance:Monitors the business unit’s performance against the operating business plansOversees the financial reporting function, including the review of reports generated for internal and external stakeholdersAnalyzes and reports the financial statements to management and identifies supplementary financial or operational reports, as neededEnsures that the business unit is operating within approved budgetsEnforces proper financial controls in place and make necessary changes, if anyReviews investment management-required reports Driving Compliance and Risk Management:Reviews and signs tax returns and other compliance requirementsSigns off on external audit requirementsAnalyzes business unit requirements related to financeStays abreast and updates management and related operating units of new accounting standards and propose necessary changes in the corporate financial model / forecast as necessary to manage financial and other risksEnsures alignment of policies and procedures with the conglomerateQualificationsSeasoned finance leader with 10+ years' experience, preferably in real estate finance experience (ex. strategic planning, PAG-IBIG, loan takeouts)CPA/CMA/CFA or MBA is an advantageKnowledge in ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft OfficeStrategic and results-driven; solution-oriented, proactive and can think outside the boxKnowledge in finance, accounting processes & control principle, ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.Well-versed in Philippine Financial Reporting Standard (PFRS) and statutory reporting.Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.
