Chief Mechanic

Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Mechanic or Senior Mechanic in the industrial, marine, or onshore mechanical field.Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational certification in Mechanical Technology is highly preferred).Core Mechanical Expertise: Strong, verifiable knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.Safety Certifications (Mandatory):First Aid and CPR certified.H₂S (Hydrogen Sulfide) certified.Valid offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET/FOET, HUET).Offshore Medical Certificate.Language: Fluent in English, spoken and written, for communication, technical reporting, and procedural understanding.Skills: Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic schematics. Strong leadership and team-coordination skills.
