We have a new, exciting opportunity for a Chief of Staff to CEO to work within our team based in Greenock.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Chief of Staff to CEO to join our leadership team in Greenock and act as a strategic right hand to the CEO. This is a pivotal role designed for a high-performing, highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.As Chief of Staff, you’ll act as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the CEO, bridging the gap between strategy and execution. You’ll ensure company priorities are delivered efficiently and to a high standard – from driving cross-functional initiatives to supporting leadership planning and safeguarding key relationships.This position combines the strategic oversight of a Chief of Staff with the precision, discretion, and coordination of an Executive Assistant. You can anticipate needs, act independently and deliver under pressure with professionalism and discretion.This position would suit someone with experience in strategy, operations or senior executive support, who’s ready to step into a high-impact leadership partnership role within a growing international company.Why This Role Matters - Key Responsibilities·       Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring company priorities are executed on time and to a high standard.·       Drive alignment across departments, connecting strategy to execution and ensuring accountability for key outcomes.·       Manage and support cross-functional projects such as process improvements and business transformation.·       Prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates and leadership reviews, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and impact.·       Support the CEO with planning, communication, and decision-making, maximising focus on the highest-impact initiatives.·       Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across the organisation, taking ownership of solutions.·       Support the leadership team to ensure company goals, KPIs and 90-day plans are delivered and tracked.·       Step in where needed for the CEO ensuring progress never stalls.·       Provide executive coordination, including diary, travel, and event management where required to support strategic priorities.·       Champion HR initiatives and workplace culture, supporting talent, engagement and communication across the business.·       Safeguard confidential information and manage sensitive business and people matters with absolute discretion.·       Act as a central connector across functions, helping teams stay aligned on company goals and prioritiesEssential Skills·       4+ years’ experience in a strategic, operational, or executive support role (e.g. Chief of Staff, Strategy Manager, Operations Lead, or Senior EA).·       Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and delivering outcomes in fast-paced environments.·       Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.·       Strong commercial understanding and analytical capability.·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.·       Confident preparing executive reports, presentations and board materials.·       Skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.·       Discreet, dependable and comfortable managing sensitive information.Location: GreenockHours: Full time, Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)Salary: Competitive, negotiable dependent on experienceHow to ApplyApply for this position by sending us your CV and a brief cover letter telling us what unique skill or quality you would bring to this role – and why you think you’d be the perfect fit.Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial call, followed by video or in-person interviews.To know more about the company and the team, visit us at www.pgpaper.com
