ScheduleRemote, Full-time, 40 hours per weekWorking hours: 9 am - 5 pm Eastern time (U.S.)About The RoleOne of our U.S. clients is seeking a full-time Chief Operating Officer (COO), based in South Africa, to lead and optimize day-to-day operations across the company. As the right hand to the CEO, the COO will own the implementation of internal systems, drive accountability, and oversee cross-functional performance across recruiting, sales, and customer success. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who excels at bringing structure to scaling teams and freeing up executive bandwidth.Please note - experience working with U.S. companies and/or clients is a must.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement KPIs across all departments, with clear reporting frameworks Manage and improve customer success workflows and retention processes Own contract renewal processes and ensure timely execution Oversee and support the recruitment team in partnership with the Director of Recruiting Work cross-functionally to align operations with growth and client satisfaction Lead special projects and operational initiatives that improve internal efficiency Provide oversight and direction to marketing efforts until a full-time hire is made Requirements5+ years of experience in an operations leadership role, ideally in a professional services or recruiting business Proven track record of creating scalable systems and delivering measurable outcomes Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving accountability Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working closely with a CEO/founder in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Ability to work standard U.S. hours (Eastern Time preferred)
