An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join a leading contracting organisation in Dubai.The COO will provide strategic leadership across project delivery and corporate functions, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth. This is a pivotal role for a results-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the successful execution of multiple large-scale, high-rise construction projects.Oversee operational departments including Projects, Planning, Technical, MEP, HSE, QA/QC, and Assets.Drive organisational performance, governance, and compliance with industry standards.Build strong client, consultant, and authority relationships to strengthen market position.Implement operational efficiencies, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management - mandatory20+ years of experience in civil construction, with at least 10 years in senior leadership (GM, Operations Director, COO).Proven experience managing high-rise projects of AED 2B+ value.Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, project controls, procurement, and financial management.Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.UAE/GCC experience is essential (recent experience on UAE projects essential)Apply today!
