Position OverviewThe Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as the strategic leader responsible for defining the vision, long-term direction, and overall business performance of the company. The COO oversees the development of high-quality educational content and digital learning solutions, while cultivating strategic partnerships with government agencies and private-sector organizations to elevate Thailand’s education ecosystem through technology, digital platforms, and AI-enhanced learning.Key Responsibilities1. Vision, Strategy, and Organizational LeadershipEstablish and articulate the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic direction within the Education Technology sector.Lead the transformation of the company into a national leader in digital learning, educational content, and AI-driven solutions.Ensure strategic alignment across functions including Content Development, Technology, AI, Product, Operations, and Government Partnerships.Drive a culture of innovation, agility, accountability, and excellence across the entire organization.2. Partnerships, Stakeholder Management, and Government RelationsBuild and maintain high-level strategic relationships with government bodies, ministries, educational institutions, and corporate partners.Represent the company in national-level discussions, presentations, and negotiations related to educational improvement and digital transformation.Oversee collaboration agreements, public-private partnerships, and multi-stakeholder education initiatives.Position the company as a trusted partner in driving the digitalization and modernization of Thailand’s education landscape.3. Business Growth, P&L Ownership, and Sustainable ProfitabilityFully own the company’s Profit and Loss (P&L), ensuring strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term stability.Develop and execute growth strategies that deliver sustainable profitability across B2G, B2B, B2C, and B2B2G business models.Strengthen and diversify revenue streams through digital learning platforms, licensing models, content services, enterprise solutions, and AI-powered offerings.Optimize cost structures, investments, and operational expenditures to maximize ROI and financial resilience.Ensure strong cash flow management, financial discipline, and long-term profitability to support scalable growth.Balance national education impact with commercial viability, ensuring the company delivers both societal value and business success.4. Innovation, Product Excellence, and Digital TransformationChampion the development of high-quality educational content across early childhood, K-12, tertiary, and adult learning segments.Oversee the creation of digital learning platforms, AI-driven learning tools, and personalized learning experiences.Ensure product development aligns with pedagogical integrity, curriculum standards, and emerging global trends in EdTech and AI-based learning.Promote the adoption of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in product design, content effectiveness, and learner outcomes.5. People Leadership and Organizational DevelopmentBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing executive team capable of scaling the organization.Foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture emphasizing innovation, integrity, and educational excellence.Strengthen organizational capability across core functions: Content Production, Curriculum Design, Technology, AI, Product, Operations, and PMO.Establish clear performance metrics, governance, and leadership standards across the company.QualificationsMinimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in EdTech, technology, education, media, or related industries.Proven experience in full P&L ownership, financial management, and delivering sustainable business growth.Strong understanding of Thailand’s education ecosystem, government processes, and public-private partnership models.Familiarity with digital platforms, educational content development, product management, AI applications in learning, and technology-driven innovation.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation and manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable execution and measurable results.
