We are dedicated to scaling our business and helping other companies achieve their highest potential, and you will be the driving force behind our revenue goals.What you will do:As CSO, you will be a key member of the executive management team, directly responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, and expansion of our sales organization. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, a hands-on approach to execution, and the ability to inspire a high-performing sales culture to drive growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Revenue GrowthSales Strategy Ownership: Define and implement the sales strategy, including setting clear objectives for market entry, channel development, and revenue segmentation.MRR Accountability: Working in close collaboration with the Marketing department to create a cohesive go-to-market plan focused on accelerating MRR alongside supporting a high NRR and GRR.Market Expansion: Lead the growth charge across key target markets, including Denmark, Germany, the UK, and the US, establishing scalable and repeatable sales models in each region.Channel Development: Own the strategy and execution for expanding revenue across all three core channels: Inbound Sales, Partner Sales, and Integration Sales.Leadership & ExecutionLeadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the current sales team of 6 individuals, fostering their professional development and maximizing individual performance.Hands-on: You are expected to navigate from high level strategy down to being direct hands-on. Recruitment & Scaling: Take ultimate responsibility for scaling the sales department, proactively recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent to meet aggressive growth targets.Performance Management: Establish and monitor robust sales metrics (KPIs, pipelines, conversion rates) and implement data-driven forecasting to ensure predictable revenue outcomes.Tooling & Process: Drive continuous improvement in the sales technology stack and processes, ensuring efficiency, data quality, and scalability.Executive & Commercial InsightCross-Functional Alignment: Collaboration across the organisation is crucial for driving performance, defining internal processes, cross-department information sharing and efficiency. Especially a close collaboration with Marketing is crucial for succeeding. Commercial Acumen: Represent the sales function within the executive team, contributing to overall business strategy, financial planning, and organizational design.Compliance: Ensure all sales practices and contracts adhere to legal standards and company policies.Data & structure: Ensuring accurate and updated customer data is the foundation for creating a high-performing Sales function, ensuring valuable insights and streamlining workflows across the business. Who You Are:Leadership Style & MindsetExecutive & Commercial: Proven ability to think strategically, act decisively, and contribute as a commercial leader in an executive setting.Player-Coach: You possess the willingness and capability to be both a strategic architect and a hands-on sales closer and coach.Goal-Oriented: Highly focused on results, accountability, and disciplined execution against challenging revenue goals.Communication: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken - Danish and other languages is a plusRequired ExperienceSales Leadership: 5+ years in a senior sales leadership role (e.g., Head of Sales, VP of Sales, or CSO), ideally within a B2B SaaS or high-growth technology company.Management experience: Proven success in scaling and managing small-to-mid-sized sales teams. Channel Expertise: Demonstrated success building out multiple revenue streams (e.g., direct sales, channel partners, integration sales).International Focus: Experience managing sales cycles and strategy across international markets, particularly DK, UK, Germany, or the US.What you get:This is a defining role at Plecto.
