This includes building resilient infrastructure, strengthening platform stability, driving innovation, and enabling the business to scale rapidly and sustainably.You’ll work closely with the executive team and play a critical role in translating growth ambitions into a robust, future-proof technology roadmap.Who We’re Looking ForThis role is ideal for a high-potential CTO who wants to take on a platform of national significance. You should bring:Must-Have ExperiencePrevious experience in Media or Telecommunications, or Small FintechHands-on background in software developmentStrong networking and connectivity knowledgeSolid experience in the understanding of building Captive Portals.Proven experience leading and growing technology teamsbetween 15–25 years total experience, of which a minimum of 4+ years is in a CTO or comparable senior technology leadership positionExperience scaling platforms, architecting high-availability systems, or managing distributed networksAdditional RequirementsBased in Gauteng with the ability to work hybrid (a few days weekly in Bryanston, Johannesburg)Strong stakeholder management skills paired with maturity and confidenceA builder’s mindset with the ability to deliver at paceComfort working in a fast-growth, founder-led environmentStrategic leadership combined with hands-on technical oversightWhy This Role Stands OutThis isn’t just another CTO job.
