Digitalenta is now looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join as co-founder to a confidential fashion startup. This is a core leadership role. You will help shape product, tech and the future of our company.About the companyWe are a small team working on something big. A new kind of fashion experience powered by AI. Our product lets people create personal avatars, try on clothes virtually, and shop directly from a curated, shoppable catalog. Think: Hyper personalization meets real-life utility.The RoleYour focus will be on defining our technical direction and building the right team to get us there. You don’t need to write every line of code, but you do need to make the key technical decisions, and know what good execution looks like. We are early-stage, so in this role you will mix vision, architecture, and structure with plenty of day-to-day problem solving.What you’ll be doingSet the technical roadmap, architecture, and toolsHire and lead a small (distributed) engineering teamTurn product ideas into stable, scalable systemsKeep quality high from AI pipelines to mobile UX to backend performanceBalance speed with long-term thinkingRepresent the tech side in conversations with partners and investorsWho You AreYou are someone who’s built things before. Maybe a startup, maybe a platform, maybe a high performing team. You have worked in fastmoving environments with limited resources and shifting priorities, and you are comfortable making decisions without perfect information.You haveExperience from roles like tech lead, early employee, or co-founderKnow what it takes to lead and support distributed teamsHave worked on a consumer product, ideally mobile-firstExperience with AI, fashion, or e-commerce platformsCan explain tech clearly. Especially to non-technical stakeholdersWe are looking for someone who’s strategic, but grounded – someone who can see the big picture and still knows how to focus on what really matters right now. You have a builder’s mindset and don’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves when needed. You lead with clarity, not ego, and know how to bring people with you.
