CTO – High-Frequency TradingLocation: UAEType: Full-time | Executive LeadershipAbout the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a proven track record in building and scaling high-frequency trading platforms. This role is ideal for a technically driven leader who combines deep engineering expertise with strategic business insight. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the technology vision, driving performance and innovation, and ensuring the continued growth and reliability of a world-class digital asset trading platform.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Vision & Strategy: Define and execute a robust technology roadmap aligned with the company’s expansion in global digital trading markets.Platform Architecture: Design and optimize ultra-low latency systems, trading engines, and real-time data pipelines to deliver high throughput and minimal execution time.Engineering Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow top-tier global engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.Scalability & Reliability: Architect systems capable of handling massive transaction volumes while ensuring uptime, fault tolerance, and data integrity.Innovation & Performance: Champion advancements in algorithmic trading, infrastructure optimization, and distributed systems to maintain a competitive edge.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, quant, and business leaders to translate trading strategies into scalable, high-performance systems.Governance & Compliance: Oversee security, data governance, and regulatory compliance across all technology operations.Key RequirementsProven experience as CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology in high-frequency trading (HFT), quantitative trading, crypto exchanges, or financial markets.Strong hands-on technical expertise in C++, Go, or Rust, with proficiency in Python for analytics and automation.Deep understanding of low-latency system design, network optimization, and real-time data processing.Experience building and scaling trading platforms handling billions in daily trade volume.Strong knowledge of market microstructure, exchange connectivity (FIX, WebSocket), and execution algorithms.Ability to manage complex engineering initiatives and lead distributed teams across multiple regions.Excellent communication and leadership skills with a bias toward execution and innovation.Preferred QualificationsBackground in computer science, quantitative finance, or electrical engineering.Experience working within crypto exchanges, multi-asset brokers, or liquidity providers.Familiarity with cloud-native, edge computing, or AI-driven optimization technologies.Why JoinBe the driving force behind the next generation of high-frequency digital trading platforms.Work at the cutting edge of trading technology and digital assets innovation.Competitive executive package including equity participation.Collaborative, fast-paced environment with global impact and autonomy.
