The university features a green campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure and top-class faculty, catering to both national and international students.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Vigilance Officer at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University in Tiruchirappalli. The Chief Vigilance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of vigilance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, conducting investigations into allegations of misconduct, and developing strategies to prevent fraudulent activities. The role will also involve coordinating with other departments to promote a culture of transparency and integrity within the university.The Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) is responsible for promoting transparency, integrity, and ethical conduct within the University. The key responsibilities include:1.    Integrity & Ethics:2.    Ensure adherence to rules, ethical standards, and fair practices across all departments.3.    Preventive Vigilance:4.    Identify and address areas prone to irregularities; recommend system improvements to prevent lapses.5.    Investigation & Disciplinary Oversight:6.    Examine complaints of misconduct or malpractice and recommend appropriate disciplinary action.7.    Compliance Monitoring:8.    Oversee compliance in recruitment, procurement, and administrative processes to maintain transparency and fairness.9.    Awareness & Training:10. Organize programs to promote vigilance awareness and ethical behavior among staff and students.11. Reporting & Coordination:12. Submit vigilance reports to higher authorities and coordinate with relevant departments for corrective action.13. Confidentiality & Fairness:14. Ensure impartiality and maintain confidentiality in all vigilance-related matters.Qualification and Eligibility – Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO)Educational Qualification:·       Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.·       Preference may be given to candidates with a background in Law, Public Administration, Management, or Finance.·       Additional certification or training in vigilance, audit, ethics, or compliance will be an advantage.Experience:·       Minimum 10–15 years of administrative experience in a reputed academic institution, government organization, or public sector undertaking.·       Experience in handling disciplinary cases, policy compliance, audits, or grievance redressal is desirable.·       Prior experience in vigilance, legal, or internal audit functions will be preferred.Skills and Competencies:·       Strong understanding of university rules, regulations, and governance frameworks.·       High integrity, impartiality, and strong decision-making ability.·       Excellent communication, investigation, and report-writing skills.·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.Language and Relocation Requirement:·       Must be fluent in Tamil and English (both written and spoken).·       Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.·       Must be willing to relocate to Trichy and work from the campus full-time.
