Expected Work and Scope of Role. Market & competition insightsRoutine performance tracking delivery and market insight digging through consolidated data from various sources. Distil key insights based on solid analysis and develop regular intelligence reports to leadership (ie.

monthly business review), clarify the key takeaway and strategic implicationsInnovation intelligenceMonitor and synthesize macroeconomics, industry and consumer major trends, drive implication on opportunity & challenges to inspire the team in innovation as the voice of consumers. Support consumer research projects to ensure successful launch of NPDs in China, which includes proposition, packaging, claims, names, etc. Support brand building excellenceSupport evaluation of brand health and campaign performance. Support consumer research on consumer path to purchase to identify role of key touch points and effective media mix. Support MKT team on always-on content planning and management.

Cross-functional team collaborationWork closely with internal teams including MKT, sales, R&D, and finance to ensure that market insights align with company objectives. Act as a strategic partner to drive alignment between market intelligence and business strategy. Agency managementManage external market research agencies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data, insights, and research outputs on time and within budget. Evaluate the performance of third-party agencies and build strong partnerships to maximize research effectivenessKey Interfaces and TeamsBU x-function lead and manager, including MKT, R&D, Finance, Supply chain and etc. BU Sales team, Category strategic planning team.

Market Research Agency partnersCandidate ProfileExperiences & QualificationsBachelor’s degree above, market research, marketing, and economics or a related field preferredAt least 3-5 years relevant experience in consumer insight, FMCG (esp. body wash and oral care industry/ experience with Unilever, New retail or other in-house insight team) is preferredStrong experience with Market research data source, tool, and software (ie.

Nielsen, Kantar, and shopper insight experiences is a plus)Proficient in fundamental quantitative and qualitative primary research methods and analytic approachesExcellent persuasive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiencesExperience managing external agencies and collaborating with cross-functional teamsFluent in Written and Spoken EnglishSkillsCreativity, empathy, obsession with brands and consumers, sense of aesthetics, analytical thinking and rigourPositive attitude, with history of self-motivation, resourcefulness and results orientationProven ability to analyse complex data and translate it into actionable insightsBusiness centric with passion to learn and grow not limit to insight itselfMonitor progress and take actions任职条件:
