He/She will leverage consumer insights, inventory intelligence, and retail KPIs to drive profitability, operational excellence, and strategic growth. Key ResponsibilitiesRetail Planning & ForecastingEstablish enterprise-wide visibility of profitability, productivity and consumer insights through systematic data analysis, driving continuous business improvement through cross-functional collaboration. Develop and implement performance tracking frameworks with clear action implications to optimize retail operations and financial outcomes.
Lead the integration of multi-source data (primary sales, secondary market data, competitive intelligence) to develop accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans. Conduct comprehensive competitor performance analysis to identify market opportunities and risks. Manage a team of analysts to deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics projects. Retail Analytics & Performance ManagementYearly KPI target setting for retail management team (district and store level), monitor on regular basis and deliver actionable insights through dashboards. Identify underperforming categories/stores and drive corrective actionsImplement retail productivity frameworks to enhance store efficiency (e. g. , space planning, labor optimization). Analyze omnichannel performance (e. g.
, WeChat stores, RFID, mPOS) to bridge digital and physical retail. Strategic Retail ExcellenceCollaborate with Retail Ops & other key stakeholders to standardize best practices. Spearhead cross-functional projects . Drive annual budgeting and 3–5-year strategic planning, linking financial targets to operational execution. Qualifications & Skills: 8+ years in retail planning, analytics, or commercial strategy(luxury/fashion/FMCG preferred). Expertise in retail math (GMROI, weeks of supply, markdown optimization) and forecasting tools. Advanced analytical skills (Excel, Power BI, SQL) with ability to translate data into business strategies.
Proven track record in inventory management, OTB, and P&L accountabilityStrong stakeholder managementExperience with retail digitization is a plus.
