China Equity Analyst

Job Summary:Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented China Equity Analyst to join our investment research team, this position will be a sector specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of Chinese listed companies, identifying investment opportunities, and delivering actionable insights to support portfolio management and client advisory. Key Responsibilities:Conduct fundamental research and financial analysis on A/H/ADR equities across assigned sectors (e.g., TMT, consumer electronics, semiconductor, auto sector).Build and maintain financial models, including forecasts, valuations, and scenario analysis.Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry trends impacting Chinese markets.Prepare and present investment theses, research reports, and market updates to internal stakeholders and clients.Participate in earnings calls, management meetings, and industry conferences.Collaborate with research teams and portfolio managers to support investment strategies Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA or progress toward CFA preferred.2-5 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management with a focus on China.Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.Familiarity with Bloomberg, Wind, FactSet, and other financial databases.
