Role Description We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chinese Professor to join our team. This is an on-site role based in Luanda Province, Angola. The Chinese Professor will conduct language classes, assess and evaluate student progress, design lesson plans, and engage students in interactive and immersive language learning experiences. Additional responsibilities include tailoring teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and fostering cultural understanding through language education. The candidate will collaborate with the Poliglota team to maintain the highest standards of language instruction. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with a focus on both written and spoken languageExperience in language instruction, including developing lesson plans and conducting classesAbility to assess, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback to studentsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with diverse learnersFamiliarity with cultural nuances and the ability to incorporate cultural context into teachingA teaching certification or degree in Chinese language, Education, or a related field is preferredExperience teaching Mandarin to non-native speakers is an advantageAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to a diverse and dynamic environment
