Job PurposeTo drive business growth in the Chinese-speaking market segment by promoting the company's money transfer and foreign exchange (FX) services, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring exceptional customer service in both Mandarin/Chinese and English. The role involves actively identifying opportunities, converting leads, and supporting operational processes in compliance with banking and money transfer regulations in Zimbabwe. Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development-Identify, engage, and onboard Chinese-speaking clients and businesses requiring money transfer or FX services,-Promote the company's money transfer products, exchange rates, and value propositions to both individual and corporate clients.
•Build partnerships with Chinese businesses, community associations, and traders operating in Zimbabwe. -Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets,2. Client Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with existing Chinese-speaking clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals•Provide tailored solutions for customers' FX and remittance needs. Resolve client inquiries, complaints, and transaction issues promptly in both Chinese and English. 3. Market Research & IntelligenceMonitor Chinese community activities, economic trends, and competitor offerings in the Zimbabwe FX/money transter market. •Provide teedback to management on opportunities, client needs, and potential new product offerings4.
Compliance & Operational Support-Ensure all transactions and customer onboarding comply with RBZ regulations, AML/CFT policies, and company procedures Accurately process transactions, customer KY documents, and sales reports. •Liaise with back-office and treasury teams to facilitate smooth FX transactions. Skills & QualificationsQualifications & Experience•Diploma/Degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. •At least 2 years' experience in sales within financial services, FX, or banking. •Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken & written) and English is a must. •Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. •Knowledge of foreign exchange processes, rates, and money transfer regulations in Zimbabwe is an advantage.
