Chinese Translator

Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote role for a Chinese Translator. The Chinese Translator will be responsible for accurately translating written content from Chinese to English and vice versa. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and proofreading translations, ensuring cultural relevance, and maintaining the integrity of the original message. The translator may also assist with localizing content and collaborating with teams to meet project deadlines.QualificationsFluency in written and spoken Chinese and EnglishStrong translation, localization, and proofreading skillsUnderstanding of cultural nuances and the ability to adapt content appropriatelyStrong organizational and time management skillsExperience with translation tools and software is a plusPrevious experience as a translator or in a similar role is highly advantageous
