We are bound to bring more green energy to the world and make it accessible and affordable to everyone. We are seeking Project Manager to join the Astronergy Australian team. Major responsibility for the position is managing the EPC projects for ground mounted solar farms within the Renewable Industry.
The Project Manager will also be responsible for managing project commissioning and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop project plans, schedules, budgets, and scope of works. Lead project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including landowners, regulatory bodies, contractors, suppliers, and network service providers. Manage project risks and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits. Experience in contractor management and contract negotiationMonitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Identify and implement opportunities to optimize project performance and reduce costs. Ensure that projects meet all financial and performance targets. Driving the finalization of all relevant project approvals and then implementing them. Managing financial controls within the Project Budget. Internal and external project-based reporting. Motivate team members to achieve business objectives. Qualifications & experienceAt least 3 years of experience in a Project Management Role or Site Management Role. Ability to be highly organized, work under pressure and still meet deadlines. Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Ability to read and understand engineering drawingsAbility to provide estimating inputs for solar farm EPC projectsEstablish project budget and manage forecast expenditure to achieve completion within budget. Managing the project from initial site setup to completion. DesirableExperience in the EPC of utility-scale solar farm projects, and BESS project will be a plus. Proven electrical engineering background. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, industry trends, codes and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work in a team environment?. Willing to travel in Australia and New Zealand and Islands nearby. Australian Driver License.
