The support provided by the central services ensures that the people on the ground can focus on the quality of life of the residents and contact with their families.RoleLeading Emeis' HR departmentat director level and as such contributing to corporate policies in a general sense, and more specifically being responsible for the short and long term HR policy including (but not limited to) Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Compensation Policy, Training & Management Development, Sustainable Employability, Social Relations, Prevention and Well-Being. Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with organizational objectives to support the Emeis' growth and create a ‘great place to work’.Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards, providing support to line managers and upholding excellent employment relations across the organization.ResponsibilitiesYou are a pro-active player at director level who shares final responsibility and has affinity with the entire organisation. As a human being among people, you help build the culture in the organisation.You build an inspiring and creative HR policy by thinking along strategically and operationally and by setting up an HR organisation that supports and guides people to achieve their objectives and develop their talents.You are a strong people manager able to coach and to develop an HR team of 20+ people.You develop, initiate and coordinate various projects within human resources for the optimal use of human capital and to support the change processes within the entire organisation and to develop the talents in the organisation to the fullest.You build on an accessible and collegial HR department that assumes a business partner role and is visibly present.You cultivate constructive relationships with social partners.You focus on satisfaction and involvement so that everyone feels good within the organisation and can make the difference.You develop a correct, efficient and cost-conscious organisational policy with attention to diversity and talent, putting the right person in the right place.You initiate, supervise and implement HR change processes and social innovation with the aim of ensuring an optimal customer experience whereby the company can fulfil its mission, vision, strategy and values where the welfare & wellbeing of the residents should be at the centre.You follow market developments closely and ensure that this knowledge is transferred to your team.From an HR perspective, you contribute to the financial success of the company so that the set objectives can be achieved (sick leave, retention, recruitment...).ProfileMaster education.You are an HR generalist with vision and a solid all-round HR experience in a strongly regulated services environment with a similar scope. Preferably you also have business experience that goes beyond HR.After starting your career, you quickly felt the need to transform working methods and to take the lead within your own functional domain. Your conceptual thinking skills mean that today you can work at a strategic level with a focus on new ways of working, products and services that strengthen an organisation's ‘raison d'être.’Strategic and innovative thinker, able to understand the complexity of the context and able to provide practical, implementable solutions.You communicate openly and diplomatically, with persuasiveness and impact, and maintain good relations with all interest groups in the organisation.You are an entrepreneurial mentor who has a feeling for what is going on, takes ownership and anchors HR responsibilities in the entire organisation, an organiser and facilitator who correctly identifies pro-actively HR needs and proposes efficient, tailor-made processes.Experience in managing change and leading organizational transformations.Very good knowledge of Belgian labour law and able to create a healthy social climate by entering into a dialogue with the social partners.KPI-driven.Result-oriented track record.Flexible attitude with a healthy sense of humor.Ability to function in a multicultural environment.Mastery of MS Office.Mother tongue: Dutch. Fluent in French and English.
