Job Description As a Program Assistant, you will support and engage with American university students living and studying in Copenhagen. This involves planning and leading “Hygge Night,” for example, day trips to local sites of interest, and other social and cultural activities at our Study Center or in the city. Along with our center staff, you will assist in planning and attend day or overnight trips, support the rest of the team during orientation days, and help with student housing preparations.
A Program Assistant should be a reliable, active, flexible, organized, and outgoing person who enjoys team activities (engagement in sports or other outdoor activities are a plus!). You should be familiar with Danish culture and know also know your way around they city of Copenhagen. Program Assistants generally work up to 15 hours per week. It’s a plus if you are interested in a longer job commitment. CIEE Copenhagen CIEE opened its doors in Copenhagen in the fall of 2018, and since then we have welcomed students from all over the US.
