This position is open to Polish-speaking candidates based in Poland. If you’re not currently residing in Poland or don’t speak fluent Polish, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying.Our client is seeking a Cinematic Designer with a strong sense of visual storytelling and a passion for crafting memorable narrative experiences. Your focus will be on designing and implementing emotionally impactful interactive dialogue sequences that elevate the player’s immersion.You’ll work in Unreal Engine 5, collaborating closely with the Lead Cinematic Artist, quest designers, and writers to bring story moments to life. Prior game development experience is welcome, but what they value most is a strong foundation in cinematic techniques.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and implement high-quality interactive dialogue scenes that enhance narrative depth and player engagementCollaborate with writers, animators and designers to ensure cinematic and storytelling consistencyWork closely with the Cinematic Director to translate scripts into compelling visual experiencesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cinematic content within Unreal EngineSupport the integration of narrative sequences into gameplayPartner with programmers to refine internal tools used for creating interactive dialogueREQUIREMENTS2+ years of experience in a similar role within the game industryProficiency in Unreal Engine, particularly in building cinematic sequencesStrong understanding of film language – camera work, pacing, shot composition, and scene directionExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetAbility to adapt and create in a fast-paced development environmentPassion for storytelling and a love for narrative-driven RPGsA portfolio showcasing cinematic design or interactive storytellingFluent EnglishPoland-basedWHAT THEY OFFERRemote or hybrid in Warsaw, PolandCore hours: 11:00-15:00 CETStrict no-crunch working environment, based on trust and mutual respectEquipment providedABOUT THE COMPANYStudio founded by AAA veterans from Poland, currently working on their first AAA IP, a dark fantasy RPG.
