Cisco Certified Network Engineer

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cisco Certified Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team across Gibraltar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level network systems using Cisco technologies.Key Responsibilities:Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.Implement and manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.Monitor network performance, availability, and security using industry-standard tools.Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.Work with cross-functional teams to implement new IT solutions or resolve complex technical challenges.Ensure network integrity and security through best practices, including firewall management, access control, and VPN implementation.Maintain network documentation and prepare technical reports as needed.Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during network outages or upgrades.Required Qualifications:Active Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP, or higher – required)Hands-on experience in server parts replacement.Proficiency with Cisco hardware and software (IOS, ASA, Nexus, Meraki, etc.).Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark.Strong troubleshooting skills.Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
