The Buyer is responsible for creating and sourcing a product range which is authentic, creative and reflective of customers across all City Beach platforms. This includes negotiating best terms with suppliers and analysing and managing product sell through instore and online. The Buyer has a significant impact on the growth across all departments and development of team member performance to drive sales and maximise profitability. What you’ll be doing:

Sourcing products from local and international suppliersForging strong relationships with suppliers through travel and regular contactUse your knowledge of current fashion trends and work with the Product Development Team on new productsAnalysis of your products to gauge performance and guide future decision makingMonitor department and store comparisonsChecking purchase orders and order confirmationsMonitor cancellations and changes to delivery dateMentor and develop Assistant Buyers into future leaders of the businessWhat we’re looking for?Demonstrated experience working in retail fashion buyingStrong analytical skills Working knowledge of current and current trends High level of Microsoft suite skills including ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsTertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferredThe benefits:
