The OpportunityAs Crew Leader Works, You WillLead a small crew in the delivery of road, drainage and footpath maintenance and constructionOperate plant and equipment including skid steers, rollers and tipper trucksMonitor worksite safety and quality, and maintain records for site reporting and materialsInterpret plans, set levels, and ensure each job meets City standardsSupport the Supervisor Works with job setup, resource coordination and site readinessThis is a practical field-based role with responsibility for daily site leadership and on-the-job coaching of your crew.
What You'll BringExperience in road, drainage and path construction or maintenanceThe ability to lead a small crew and communicate clearly on siteUnderstand WHS and traffic management obligationsHold a current HR licence, White Card and Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) accreditationThe ability to read plans and use survey tools like laser levelsA Certificate III or IV in Civil Construction and experience using mobile work order systems will be highly regarded.
