About The PositionThe City of Gosnells is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic professionals to join our Parks and Environment team. This hands-on role supports the establishment, maintenance and repair of parks infrastructure across the City. You will operate a range of tools and equipment to help maintain playgrounds, skate parks and other park assets to a high standard, while also assisting with the installation of features such as fencing, paving, boardwalks and shelters.
What We Are Looking ForTo be successful, you must be able to demonstrateSubstantial experience in a parks infrastructure maintenance roleAbility to work effectively as a team memberAbility to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of peopleStrong focus on safetyEssential RequirementsCert III in Parks and Gardens, Landscaping or equivalent qualification. Current MR Class drivers licenceWhite cardNational Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
Desirable RequirementsTrade certificate in Carpentry / Cabinetry / Boiler making or equivalent. Chainsaw TicketConcrete, paving, limestone and/or brickwork experienceOperator tickets for operating machinery such as Loader, Bobcat, Excavator, EWP, Forklift and Chainsaw.
