Civil Engineer – CHINT Green EnergyLocation: Butuan / Claveria, PhilippinesEmployment Type: Full-time | On-sitePosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join Chint New Energy’s Overseas Power Plant Division in the Philippines. The role will focus on civil design review, site supervision, progress tracking, and cost/safety management for solar power projects in construction and development stages.This position requires hands-on engineering capability and strong field coordination skills to ensure our solar EPC and power plant projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.About USEstablished in 2006 as part of the CHINT Group, CHINT Green Energy is a pioneer in the renewable energy industry and a comprehensive clean energy solution provider. With a registered capital of RMB 9.38 billion, CHINT has built extensive expertise across design, procurement, construction, testing, and operation & maintenance — making it a leading global EPC contractor and one-stop renewable energy solution provider.What You’ll DoReview and validate civil drawings (foundations, structures, construction plans, etc.) to ensure compliance with PEC standards and local regulations; propose technical optimizations.Inspect construction processes (e.g., concrete pouring, rebar work), verify material quality, and ensure all civil works meet engineering standards.Track construction schedules, identify deviations from plans, and coordinate manpower and equipment to maintain progress.Monitor civil construction costs and material usage; identify potential safety hazards (e.g., excavation, height work) and enforce corrective actions.Provide civil engineering input for project proposals, technical plans, and cost estimation to support market expansion in the Philippines.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering or related field.5–10 years in civil engineering, preferably within solar, power, or infrastructure projects.Proficient in foundation systems (e.g., screw piles, concrete piles, micro-piles, isolated footings).Skilled in grading, drainage, and internal road construction.Understanding of structural stability and connection design for racking systems.Knowledge of ancillary facilities (e.g., substations, transformer foundations, cable trenches, fencing).Strong ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and general layout drawings.Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.Excellent communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and safety awareness.Why Join UsBe part of a fast-growing renewable energy company with global reach.Contribute to the development of major solar projects in Southeast Asia.Gain cross-cultural project experience and professional growth opportunities.Competitive annual compensation.
