Civil Engineer

Role Purpose: Responsible for managing and supervising all civil, structural, and finishing works across company facilities. Ensures maintenance, repairs, and renovations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.Key Responsibilities:1. Operations & MaintenanceSupervise daily civil and finishing maintenance (carpentry, masonry, tiling, painting, flooring, roofing, etc.).Conduct site inspections and recommend corrective actions.Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.Monitor building fabric and structural systems.2. Renovation & ProjectsPlan and manage renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects.Review drawings, BOQs, and material submittals.Ensure timely project delivery within budget and standards.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers.3. Technical & Quality ControlIdentify root causes of recurring issues and propose solutions.Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.Inspect workmanship and materials for quality.Manage snag lists and handover inspections.4. Health, Safety & ComplianceEnforce health, safety, and environmental regulations.Ensure safe working conditions for all staff and contractors.Support internal and external audits.5. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain inspection and maintenance records.Prepare budgets, reports, and cost estimates.Provide technical assessments and lifecycle recommendations.Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of civil and finishing materials and methods.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Proficient in CAFM systems and MS Office.Excellent project and contractor management.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 7 years of experience in facilities management or finishing works.Experience in residential or commercial projects preferred.Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards.Additional certification in Facilities Management or HSE is an advantage.
