Civil Quality Control & Methods Engineer

Intertek is looking for a Civil Quality Control & Method Engineer for a 2 years major project in Liverpool bay.The selected profile will partecipate and supervise quality control activities during facilities execution phase, ensuring they meet the required quality standards during civil works.Responsabilities: To verify that the requirements of the Project Quality Plan and ITP are satisfied by project/facilities execution activities, making sure project technical integrity is metVerify that Vendors/Contractors Quality Control documents are in accordance with Project RequirementsEnsure that Civil activities are performed in accordance to the Project/Package Quality Control SystemEnsure a proper reporting on Quality Control dataProvide support for the adequate and continuous assessments of the Quality capabilities and performances of contractorsAssist in the resolution of quality related problemsPartecipate/Supervise Civil QC activities (inspections as per approved QCP's) within Construction Sites and workshopsDevelop Civil QC procedures and forms required for inspection, release and non-conformance managementVerify/review Quality Control related documents produced by Contractors/VendorsEnsure availability of an adequate number of inspectors and with adequate skillsVerify that all Civil QC verifications are performed in accordance with the approved Inspection and Test PlansPartecipate to Site Quality meetingsCarrying out technical audits to Vendors and ContractorsDealing with third party validation and certification authoritiesTo identify quality problems providing to the project team recommended corrective and preventive actionsProduce Quality reports on QC related matters and escalate/advise on any critical issues related to QCRequirementsEngineering Degree or Techcnical DiplomaMinimum 5 years of Oil & Gas Industry Experience At least 3 years of Quality Assurance and control experienceKnowledge on technical codes for Civil Works (eg ACI)
