About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our commercial operations in East Timor. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing strategic partnerships, and building a high-performing sales team to expand our market presence. This is a key leadership role with full accountability for achieving business growth targets. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed volume, revenue, and market share targetsLead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and capability developmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partnersConduct regular market visits and ensure effective execution of in-market activities and promotional plansAnalyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategy and actionsCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to support business deliveryMonitor and report on sales performance, forecasting, and KPI achievementQualifications and Experience:
Relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or commercial leadership roles, preferably in FMCG sector. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to deliver results in a competitive and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical and data-driven decision-making ability. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within East Timor. Language Requirements: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Portuguese or Bahasa Indonesia.
