The RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in airport construction, specifically in runway and pavement works.
You’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of a major infrastructure package at Sydney Airport, leading day-to-day construction management, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. This is a delivery-focused role that suits someone who thrives on-site, understands the complexities of operating within live airport environments, and is keen to contribute to long-term aviation infrastructure upgrades across both metro and regional locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee construction and delivery of airside civil works, including runway, taxiway, and apron upgradesCoordinate with contractors, design consultants, airport operations teams and regulatory authoritiesMonitor progress, safety, quality, and compliance to program and contract specificationsLead stakeholder engagement and interface management within a live airport environmentIdentify and resolve delivery risks and staging conflictsContribute to planning and scoping of future regional airport projectsAbout YouProven experience delivering airport or airside infrastructure projects, particularly pavement and runway constructionStrong understanding of aviation safety and operational constraintsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience managing contractors and driving project outcomes in complex environmentsWillingness to travel for short-term regional assignments as new projects emergeDesirableEngineering or construction management qualificationPrevious experience at Sydney Airport or other major Australian airportsFamiliarity with aviation regulatory and compliance frameworksWhat We OfferLong-term pipeline of airport and transport infrastructure workSupportive, delivery-first project teamsExposure to iconic and technically challenging infrastructure projects
