Job DescriptionJob Title: Claim Representative, Workers’ CompensationLocation: Alpharetta, GeorgiaAbout The RoleAs a Claim Representative, you will be responsible for handling workers’ compensation medical-only claims. This includes managing claims from initiation to resolution, collaborating with customers and medical providers, and ensuring fair and equitable outcomes throughout the process.Key ResponsibilitiesManage workers’ compensation medical-only claims from setup to closureCommunicate with insured parties, claimants, and medical providersInvestigate claims and manage medical treatmentPrepare reports and keep claim files updatedSet and adjust claim reserves as neededEnsure compliance with state regulationsRefer claims for subrogation when neededCollaborate and provide excellent customer service throughout the processWhy Join Us?On-the-job training providedFast-paced, supportive team environmentOpportunity to grow your career in insuranceQualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesTeam player with good decision-making skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience in claims or insurance is a plus, but not required (training provided)Eligible to obtain claim adjuster licenses in GA, FL, NC, SC, WV, and DE within 90 days of hireKnowledge of medical terminology or bill processing is a plusAbout UsChubb is a world leader in insurance.
