Claims Specialist (Automotive OEM)Location: BA/ ArgentinaDepartment: Customer Service / After-SalesReports to: After-Sales ManagerJob Title: Warranty / Claims Specialist (After-Sales)Key Responsibilities:Claims ManagementReview, process, and settle warranty and after-sales claims submitted by dealers, ensuring compliance with OEM policies, procedures, and quality standards.Analyze claim data to identify irregularities, duplicates, or non-compliant cases, and recommend corrective actions.Dealer SupportProvide guidance and training to dealers and service network on warranty policies, procedures, and system operations.Support dealers in improving claim submission accuracy and efficiency.Policy Execution & OptimizationImplement warranty policies and procedures established by HQ and regional offices; provide feedback for continuous improvement based on market insights.Monitor industry regulations and standards to ensure claims compliance.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Quality, Parts, Finance, Legal, and Customer Service teams to resolve complex or disputed claims.Provide regular reports and claim trend analyses to HQ, supporting product improvement and quality enhancement initiatives.System & Process ManagementMaintain and update warranty/claims management systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.Participate in process optimization and digitalization projects to enhance operational efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in after-sales, warranty, or claims management within the automotive industry; OEM or dealer network experience preferred.Strong knowledge of warranty policies, claims processes, and relevant regulations.Proficient in data analysis and tools such as Excel, SAP, or OEM claims systems.Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with dealers and cross-functional teams.Strong sense of responsibility, with problem-solving and risk management capabilities.Good English reading and writing skills (international company experience preferred).Nice-to-Have:Experience in warranty policy development or process improvement projects.Familiarity with automotive quality management standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949) and regulatory requirements.Regional or multi-market claims review experience.
