With 15 branches nationwide, we provide reliable supply and localised service across the country. About the RoleDue to continued growth, we're seeking a Class 4 Delivery Driver / Production Assistant to join our team at our new, purpose-built Cromwell facility. In this hands-on role, you'll be involved in both production and delivery activities — from operating rollforming machinery and manufacturing flashings, to loading, unloading, and delivering roofing products throughout Central Otago.What you'll do:Truck Driver ResponsibilitiesDeliver roofing materials across Central OtagoLoad and unload trucks safelyPick and prepare customer orders for deliveryManage inwards goods and delivery documentationEnsure vehicle and equipment are well maintainedFollow all road safety and company procedures Production Assistant ResponsibilitiesOperate rollforming machinery and manufacture flashingsPick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatchAssist with inwards goods and stock organisationMaintain a clean and tidy work areaReport simple faults and follow safety proceduresWork collaboratively to meet production targetsRequirementsFull Class 4 driver licence (essential)Experience operating factory or sheet metal machinery (e.g. roll former, slitter, guillotine, or folder)Experience in manufacturing, transport, or warehousing environmentsForklift licence (preferred - or training provided)Physically fit and confident with manual handling and heavy liftingHiab or overhead gantry crane experience (advantageous)Mechanically minded with the ability to identify simple faultsPositive attitude and willingness to learn new machinery and processesBenefitsJoin a supportive team where your contributions are valuedLong-term career opportunities in a stable, growing businessOn-the-job training and development to help you succeedRepresent a trusted brand and make a tangible impact on the industry Ready to Join Us?If you have most of the skills and a great attitude, we'd like to hear from you, apply now! Please note that you must be currently residing in New Zealand or have a valid work visa to be considered for this position.We are committed to health and safety in our organisation.
