Job Title: Domestic AssistanceLocation: Port StephensJob Type: Casual | Flexible HoursAbout The RoleWe are currently seeking compassionate and reliable cleaners to provide essential cleaning support for a participant under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, ensuring the participant’s home meets their specific needs and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathroom sanitation.Organizing and decluttering living spaces as required.Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of high-touch surfaces to minimize any potential health risks.Adhering to the participant's specific instructions and preferences regarding cleanliness and organization.Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate contacts.Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Key RequirementsPrevious experience in domestic cleaning or a similar role is preferred.A caring and respectful attitude towards people with disabilities.Ability to follow instructions and adapt to the participant's individual needs.A police check and working with children check (if applicable).Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.DesirableExperience working with NDIS participants or in the disability support sector is a plus.Understanding of infection control practices.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate.Flexible working hours to suit your schedule.Ongoing support and training to ensure you are equipped to meet the needs of the participant.A fulfilling role making a direct impact on the life of a NDIS participant.How To ApplyIf you are passionate about making a difference and have a commitment to providing high-quality support, we would love to hear from you.
