Clear is now seeking a Project Engineer to bring technical expertise, strong project delivery skills, and a passion for smart building solutions to our growing team helping us turn ambitious visions into sustainable realities across Norway. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of building automation projects, from design review and planning through commissioning and handover. Program and configure PLCs, DDC controllers, and BMS graphical interfaces to meet client and project requirements. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to clarify scope, resolve technical issues, and ensure seamless project execution. Oversee on-site commissioning, including point-to-point checks, functional testing, and performance optimisation. Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) to validate system performance. Integrate and calibrate sensors, actuators, and field devices to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Prepare commissioning documentation, test reports, and as-built records for client approval. Deliver client training and technical handover, ensuring operational teams can manage systems effectively. Ensure compliance with environmental, occupational health & safety, and quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle. Ideal Candidate: Proven track record in delivering building automation or related control system projects. Strong understanding of BMS components, including sensors, actuators, controllers, and communication protocols (e. g. , BACnet, Modbus, KNX).
