Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and his designated delegates, the incumbent provides administrative support to the PI and their research team. Their responsibilities generally and mainly include placing Inuktitut syllabic translations of a manual into the online platform Canva and adjusting the formatting and layout to ensure readability and meaning is preserved. They will also contribute to secretarial tasks, automated office work, as well as the opening and management of files or handling of data requiring specific knowledge.General DutiesUnder The Direction Of The Immediate Supervisor, The Incumbent Entering information into the Canva online software, placing Inuktitut syllabic translations of a manual into the online platform Canva and adjusting the formatting and layout to ensure readability and meaning are preserved Organizes and coordinates meetings, takes, transcribes and distributes minutes with relevant documentation, Drafts, types, prepares and transmits various correspondences and reports and maintains agendas, Assists with, prepares and maintains various reports. Assists in the preparation and verification of various budgets and manages specific dossiers, Responsible for administrative functions such as photocopying, printing, faxing, courier services, creates and maintains filing system, etc., Performs data entry, Performs any other administrative duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.Website of the organizationhttps://rimuhc.ca/enEducation / ExperienceEducation: High School EducationWork Experience: None.Required Skills Excellent French and English, spoken and written, Ability to read and speak Nunavik Inuktitut (reading of syllabics) is required. Please do not apply if you are unable to read and understand Inuktitut, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision.Additional informationStatus: Temporary, part-time.If temporary part-time is selected, please specify the number of hours per workweek: 21 hoursPay Scale: $16.14 to $26.43/hour.
